Gators Swim Team

It’s Gator Time…RTPD Gators’ Swim Team offers a wonderful recreation-based competition experience for your children!
Sign up according to gender & age as of June 15, 2025.
Practices are Monday through Friday 5:15-6:15pm.
A parent info meeting will be held the 1st night after practice June 9 at the pool.

Some age groups fill quickly!

Boys & Girls Age Groups

Age: 5yrs – 8yrs
Age: 9yrs – 10yrs
Age: 11yrs – 12yrs
Age: 13yrs – 14yrs
Age: 15yrs – 17yrs

Registration

Fees:  $179R/$199N 
Season: June 9-July 25
Practice: Monday-Friday 5:15-6:15 pm
Location: Woodland Trails Pool
Conference Meet: July 23

5 to 8 year olds

  • Must be able to swim 25 yrds. freestyle, ideally 50 yds.
  • Must be able to legally swim 25 yds of one other competitive stroke (Back, Breast, Fly)

9 to 10 year olds

  • Must be able to swim 50 yrds. freestyle, ideally 100 yds.
  • Must be able to swim 50 yds of a 2nd competitive stroke (Back, Breast, Fly)
  • Must have familiarity with a 3rd competitive stroke.

11 to 12 year olds

  • Must be able to swim 100 yds. freestyle
  • Must be able to swim 50 yds. in 2 other competitive strokes (Back, Breast, Fly)
  • Must have familiarity with the 4th competitive stroke

13 to 18 year olds

  • Must be able to swim 100 yds. freestyle, ideally 200 yds.
  • Must be able to swim 100 yds. in 2 other competitive strokes (Back, Breast, Fly)
  • Must have familiarity with the 4th competitive stroke

Junior Gators Swim Team Skills

This class is perfect for those looking to prepare to join swim team or wanting additional time to work on skills outside of team practice. Swimmers will be split by skill-base and coached according to their individual goals by Gators Swim Team Coaches. No Class July 4.
